The Waterford Valley Golf Course is perhaps the province’s best course. It is surrounded by very picturesque mountains and is just forty minutes from Chiang Rai city center. The 18-hole course is surrounded by many trees, shrubs and bushes and features many natural hazards. A housing project fringes the course though this fortunately does not impose too much on the areas pleasant surroundings.
